Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Benedictine couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Bishop O'Connell Knights by a score of 1-0 on Monday. Benedictine's loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Benedictine's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4-1. As for Bishop O'Connell, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7-2 record this season.
