Kentwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 65-59 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mt. Hermon Yellowjackets. One positive for the Kangaroos, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Kentwood's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Mt. Hermon, their win bumped their record up to 7-14.

Looking ahead, Kentwood will face off against Mandeville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mt. Hermon, they will challenge Christ Episcopal School at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
