Basketball Recap: Overlake Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

Overlake lost to Northwest back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Overlake Owls walked away with a 49-39 win over the Northwest House. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Owls.

Overlake pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.6 points per game. As for Northwest, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.

Coincidentally, Overlake and Northwest will both be playing King's the next time they take the court. Overlake will head out to face King's at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Northwest will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
