Baseball Recap: St. Michael Comes Up Short

After flying high against San Carlos on Saturday, St. Michael came back down to earth. The Cardinals fell just short of the Braves by a score of 9-8 on Saturday. The Cardinals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Braves earlier this season, when they won 15-0.

St. Michael's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for San Carlos, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

St. Michael wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 9-3 victory against Many Farms on the 10th. As for San Carlos, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-0 loss against Alchesay on the 10th.
