Basketball Recap: Fruitvale Takes a Loss

Fruitvale lost against LaPoynor back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Fruitvale Bobcats were dealt an 81-20 loss at the hands of the LaPoynor Flyers. The matchup marked the Bobcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Fruitvale has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-9 record this season. As for LaPoynor, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-9.

Fruitvale didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 71-27 defeat against Cayuga on the 21st. As for LaPoynor, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 67-47 loss against Martins Mill on the 21st.
