Baseball Recap: South Winneshiek Comes Up Short

South Winneshiek was the 15-3 winner over Crestwood when they last played one another back in June of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors came up short against the Cadets on Wednesday, falling 10-3. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Winneshiek's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Crestwood, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-8.

South Winneshiek has already played their next contest, a 10-3 win against Janesville on the 12th. As for Crestwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Waukon on the 13th.
