Basketball Game Preview: Point Pleasant Big Blacks vs. Oak Hill Red Devils

The Point Pleasant Big Blacks just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Oak Hill Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Monday, Point Pleasant came up short against Ravenswood and fell 39-27. While losing is never fun, the Big Blacks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' West Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 587th, while the Red Devils are ranked 83rd).

Meanwhile, Oak Hill didn't have too much trouble with Bridgeport on Saturday as they won 59-44. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Devils.

Oak Hill's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Point Pleasant, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-14.

Point Pleasant ended up a good deal behind Oak Hill in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, losing 51-34. Can Point Pleasant avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
