Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Molalla). Everything went their way against the Newport Cubs on Tuesday as the Molalla Indians made off with a 60-40 win. While the Indians didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Molalla's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-5. As for Newport, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Molalla has already played their next match (against Crook County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Newport has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Gladstone.
