Basketball Recap: Eastside Comes Up Short

Eastside played a tough match on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the St. Francis Golden Knights 81-31. The game marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Eastside's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Wydell James, who posted nine points, and Tykeam McQueen, who scored nine points.

This is the second loss in a row for Eastside and nudges their season record down to 8-5. As for St. Francis, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Eastside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 61-43 defeat against King's Academy on the 27th. As for St. Francis, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 79-77 loss against Agoura on the 27th.
