Basketball Recap: Northview Falls to Bloomington South in First Game of Season

Northview unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a blow against the Bloomington South Panthers on Tuesday, falling 57-28. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 64-41 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Carlee Schrader, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds. Reagin White was another key player, putting up seven points.

Northview has already played their next game, a 51-27 win against Bloomington North on the 6th. As for Bloomington South, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 65-57 victory against Gibson Southern on the 8th.
