Recap: La Jolla Vikings vs. Crawford Colts        
        
		
            
 On Tuesday, La Jolla got the win against Crawford  by a conclusive  73-52. Given La Jolla's advantage  in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings  (they are ranked 385th, while Crawford is ranked 814th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 It was another big night for  Michael Contreras, who  scored 31 points along with eight  rebounds and five  assists. That makes it four consecutive games in which  he has scored at least 25% of La Jolla's points. Another player making a difference was  Jackson Diehl, who  scored 12 points along with four  steals.
 La Jolla's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Crawford, they are  on a three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 9-8.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. La Jolla has the luxury  of staying home another  game and will welcome University City at 7:00  p.m.  on January 11th. University City is coming into the  matchup hot, having won their last three games. As for Crawford, they will look to defend their home court  on Friday against Canyon Hills at 7:30  p.m. Canyon Hills has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 177 points over their last three games.
