Puxico had already won 17 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.4 points) and they went ahead and made it 18 on Friday. They claimed a resounding 77-36 victory over the Twin Rivers Royals. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 38th, while the Royals are ranked 200th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Puxico's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-1. As for Twin Rivers, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-8.
