After having lost a blowout in their previous game against East Carter, West Carter was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Rowan County Vikings as they made off with a 5-1 win. Considering West Carter have won six matches by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

West Carter has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-11-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four contests. As for Rowan County, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-12-1.

Looking ahead, West Carter will host Boyd County at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rowan County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
