Baseball Recap: MMI Preparatory School Falls to Shenandoah Valley in First Game of Season

MMI Preparatory School kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils by a score of 6-5. MMI Preparatory School has struggled against Shenandoah Valley recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meetings.

MMI Preparatory School saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caleb Skuba, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave Skuba a new career-high in doubles (two).

Coming up, MMI Preparatory School will square off against Greater Nanticoke Area at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Shenandoah Valley, they will challenge Executive Education Academy Charter School at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
