If Ballinger was riding high fresh off their 15-7 takedown of Winters last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Ballinger came up short against the Cisco Loboes on Tuesday, falling 12-2. The Bearcats' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Ava Aguilera was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024.

Ballinger's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Cisco, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

While Ballinger had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
