Softball Recap: Stanley Takes a Loss

Stanley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Ray Ray Jays, falling 18-0. If the Blue Jays were looking for revenge after losing 27-0 to the Ray Jays when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Stanley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Ray, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stanley will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Divide County at 4:30 p.m. on May 2. As for Ray, they will take on Williston at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
