Baseball Recap: Bethesda Christian Has No Trouble Against Morristown

Bethesda Christian barely beat Morristown the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Patriots blew past the Yellow Jackets 12-1 on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Patriots considering their one-run performance the game before.

Brooks Marti was excellent, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two RBI and one run. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Colby Conrick, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Bethesda Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Bethesda Christian now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Morristown, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

Bethesda Christian will challenge Indianapolis Kings at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Indianapolis Kings has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Morristown, they will face off against South Decatur at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
