Issaquah entered their tilt with Woodinville on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 6-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-5 last Wednesday.
Shae Erickson (2027) spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Shaina Starnicky (2028) was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Cleveland (2026), who went 1-for-4 with one home run.
Issaquah hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Woodinville struck out nine times.
Issaquah's victory bumped their record up to 19-3. As for Woodinville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-6 record this season.
Issaquah wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 8-7 win against Glacier Peak on the 12th. Woodinville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
