Basketball Recap: Timber Creek Regional Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Timber Creek Regional can now relate to. They came up short against the Cherry Hill West Lions on Saturday, falling 63-41. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 142nd, while the Lions are ranked 12th).

Timber Creek Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Cherry Hill West, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Timber Creek Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cherry Hill West, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-33 win against Toms River East on the 4th.
