Angleton blew Texas City out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Texas City got their revenge. Angleton fell just short of Texas City by a score of 3-1. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.
Kadeyn Patin was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits (and not a single walk). What's more, she gave up only zero walks, the fewest she's had since back in February of 2024.
