Volleyball Recap: North Olmsted Triumphs

The North Olmsted Eagles were able to grind out a solid victory over the Garfield Rams on Saturday, taking the game 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

North Olmsted easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-19.

Layla Flick paced North Olmsted's offense, picking up eight kills. Flick got some help from Molly Wheeler and her 14 assists. Flick was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

North Olmsted's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Garfield, they moved to 3-6 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

North Olmsted didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Cornerstone Christian on the 13th. As for Garfield, they will be playing in front of their home fans against East at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
