Basketball Recap: Ridgeview's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Ridgeview extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Narissa Blocton. The Ridgeview Panthers took down the Fletcher Senators 50-32 on Saturday thanks in part to Blocton, who went 8 for 19 on her way to 28 points and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Ridgeview's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Nacoya Blocton, who posted six points in addition to eight assists and eight boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in assists.

Fletcher's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brylee Rains, who put up 13 points. Another player making a difference was Wiley Crenshaw, who had six points.

Ridgeview's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Fletcher, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-4.
