Baseball Game Preview: Taravella Trojans vs. Western Wildcats

For the second straight game, Taravella will face off against Western. The Trojans will face off against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Taravella heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Thursday. They lost 9-3 to Western.

For Western's part, they got a great performance from Mason McGeehan as he pitched 6.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Taisuky Rodriguez, who got on base in two of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Keagan Pita was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI.

Taravella's defeat dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Western, their win bumped their record up to 13-15.
