Football Recap: Daniel Skates Past Belton-Honea Path with Ease

The Daniel Lions took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 45-7 win over the Belton-Honea Path Bears. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.

Daniel's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jace Grass, who threw for 287 yards and 2 TDs while completing 74.1% of his passes. Trey Wimbley was another key player, picking up 129 receiving yards and 1 score.

Another reason for the win was Daniel's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. It was truly a group effort as Teigen Pounds, Delone McWhorter, and Mac Moody picked up one apiece.

Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 43.5 points this season.
