Football Recap: Hebrew Academy Comes Up Short

On Wednesday, the Hebrew Academy Warriors took a blow against the Ransom Everglades Raiders, falling 38-7.

Ransom Everglades found their leader in freshman Penelope Galvin, who rushed for 86 yards and one touchdown on only six carries, and also threw for 174 yards and two touchdowns. Galvin also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making two total tackles and defending three passes.

Hebrew Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Ransom Everglades, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Looking ahead, Hebrew Academy will challenge Scheck Hillel Community School at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, Ransom Everglades and Don Soffer Aventura will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 4:30 p.m. on April 1st.
