Baseball Game Preview: Cuyahoga Heights Red Wolves vs. Fairview Warriors

For the second straight game, Cuyahoga Heights will face off against Fairview. The Red Wolves will square off against the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Monday, Cuyahoga Heights came up short against Fairview and fell 7-4. The loss continues a trend for the Red Wolves in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost three in a row.

For Fairview's part, Dylan Sather made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched six innings while giving up four earned runs off nine hits. Sather has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4.

In other batting news, Cal Reis was a standout: he scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-5. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Ben Shomon, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
