Volleyball Recap: New Lisbon Comes Up Short

New Lisbon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hillsboro Tigers. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 3, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 23-25, 25-14, 25-13.

Brooklyn Lowe paced New Lisbon's offense, picking up nine kills. Lowe got some help from Bristol Dummer and her ten assists.

New Lisbon's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Hillsboro, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-14 record this season.

New Lisbon has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Brookwood on the 9th. As for Hillsboro, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Wonewoc-Center on the 9th.
