After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Seton Catholic, La Center was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They took down the Elma Eagles 62-47. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 65-59 loss the last time these two teams met.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Isaac McGaffey, who went 7-for-17 on his way to 16 points and eight boards. McGaffey's morning made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Tanner Moe, who went 5-for-8 en route to 10 points and three steals.

La Center is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.1 points over those games. Elma's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9.

As of now, neither La Center nor Elma have any future games scheduled.
