Football Recap: American Leadership Academy Takes a Loss

American Leadership Academy was the 42-7 winner over Parowan when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles came up short against the Rams on Friday, falling 39-14.

Nicolas Marble threw for 255 yards and a pair of TDs. Kael Worthen was his top target, picking up 124 receiving yards and two scores. On the ground, Mason Ober rushed for 39 yards.

Hunter Bettridge was nothing short of spectacular for Parowan: he rushed for 121 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 110 yards and a pair of TDs. Bettridge's longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards. Another player making a difference was Chandler Hoffmeier, who rushed for 76 yards and one score.

American Leadership Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Parowan, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

American Leadership Academy has already played their next contest, a 46-0 victory against White Pine on the 29th. Parowan has also already played their next game (against Millard), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
