Baseball Game Preview: Seymour Indians vs. Hamilton/Warsaw Titans

The Seymour Indians will challenge the Hamilton/Warsaw Titans at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Seymour has given up an average of 14.2 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Seymour managed to slip by Mendon Unity the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Seymour came up short against Mendon Unity on Tuesday, falling 28-9. One positive for the Indians, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Connor Howell made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Hunter Miller was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Hamilton/Warsaw was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 17-7 to Rushville-Industry.

This is the second loss in a row for Seymour and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Hamilton/Warsaw, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
