Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Niceville

It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Niceville ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top against the Mosley Dolphins by a score of 7-4. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Dolphins, too.

Reilly Six tossed a big game, tossing 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Jackson Marquardt and Remington Crum did most of the damage at the plate: Marquardt scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-5, while Crum scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

The win (which was Niceville's third in a row) raised their record to 7-1. As for Mosley, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-3.

Niceville has already played their next game, a 15-3 victory against Choctawhatchee on the 4th. As for Mosley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-3 loss against South Walton on the 28th.
