Softball Recap: Canyon View Falcons vs. Emery Spartans
It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Canyon View ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 victory over the Emery Spartans. This was a revenge game for the Falcons: when they faced off against the Spartans back in March, they had to take a 8-7 loss.
Alina Sluder was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Payton Castillo was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
