Natick owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Braintree Wamps 2-0. That's two games straight that the Redhawks have won by exactly two runs.

Natick pushed their record up to 7-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Braintree, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-3.

Natick and Braintree should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings.
