Baseball Recap: Bluffton Takes a Loss

Bluffton lost against Heritage back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 3-2.

Bluffton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dawson Lee, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

Bluffton's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 15-8. As for Heritage, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That lines up perfectly with their 15-5 record this season.

Bluffton and Heritage should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings. The Tigers (ranked 98th) will meet West Noble (ranked 274th) at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Heritage will take on Marion at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank advantage (113 vs. 333).
