UMS-Wright Prep's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Thursday. They never let the Rain Red Raiders get on the board and left with a 13-0 win. Considering the Bulldogs have won ten matchups by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

UMS-Wright Prep is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. Rain is on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

UMS-Wright Prep didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-0 loss against Mary G. Montgomery on the 21st. As for Rain, they will square off against Elberta at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
