Nasir Collins Has Career-Day on Friday

Starting off the list is Mount Union's Nasir Collins, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Collins made seven total tackles, good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 65 yards.

This year, Collins has averaged 8.1 total tackles per game and for the season has 2 interceptions. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had six rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 17.

Rocco Reifer Dazzles in Moshannon Valley Win

Rocco Reifer's big game helped extend Moshannon Valley's winning streak to five on Saturday. Reifer did his part (and then some), rushing for 221 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.6 yards per carry for the 'W'. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 60 yards.

On the season, Reifer has run in 7 touchdowns while averaging 142.1 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 52.71 rushing yards per game.

Ryan Came Up Big in Mount Union's 46-0 Victory

The second Mount Union player making an appearance here is Josh Ryan, and for good reason. He rushed for 80 yards and three touchdowns.

Ryan is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Southern Huntingdon County on Friday. When Ryan last faced the Rockets back in October of 2023, he rushed for 131 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries.

Claysburg-Kimmel Wins Fifth-Straight Thanks to Mark Lattieri

Mark Lattieri was instrumental in extending Claysburg-Kimmel's winning streak to five on Friday. Glendale had no answer to Lattieri as he rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also picked up 92 receiving yards and a touchdown. Lattieri is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.

This season, Lattieri has caught those 1 touchdown while averaging 17.1 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 47 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 126 rushing yards.

Mason Campagna Makes It Two for Claysburg-Kimmel

Another Claysburg-Kimmel player making an appearance on this list is Mason Campagna. He rushed for 71 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 196 yards and a touchdown. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last five games he's played dating back to last season.

On the season, Campagna has thrown 4 touchdowns while averaging 142 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he had six rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 14.
