Basketball Recap: J.F. Webb Comes Up Short

J.F. Webb lost against Vance County back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The J.F. Webb Warriors were outmatched by the Vance County Vipers and fell 60-32. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Vance County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Destiny Timberlake, who posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Da'Shunti Hester, who earned 11 points.

J.F. Webb's loss dropped their record down to 7-6-1. As for Vance County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-4.

J.F. Webb didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 39-38 defeat against South Granville on the 31st. As for Vance County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 37-35 loss against Carrboro on the 31st.
