Culver City had won two straight home games and Kenji Toombs did his part to make it three on Thursday. The Culver City Centaurs put the hurt on the Centennial Apaches with a sharp 3-0 win for which the team can thank Toombs, who had five kills, five aces, and three digs. That's the most aces he has posted since back in March of 2024.
The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-12, 25-18.
Culver City's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Centennial, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
