Softball Recap: Plymouth Beats Novi for Their Third Straight Win

Plymouth waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let Novi get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory. For Plymouth, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win Novi walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Natalie McCall, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Simko, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Plymouth kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in three consecutive games.

Plymouth's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Novi, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10.

Coming up, Plymouth will challenge Garden City at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Novi, they will square off against Canton at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
