Basketball Recap: Hoehne Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Hoehne, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They strolled past the Center Vikings with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 53-37. This was payback for the Farmers, who suffered a 57-32 loss the last time these two teams met.

Hoehne had a senior duo take command as Bobby Terry almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds and Nathan Zamora posted 12 points and three steals. Zamora has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Ethan Lopez, who scored six points and six boards.

Hoehne's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Center, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.

Hoehne will host Swink at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hoehne is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.7 points per game this season. As for Center, they will head out to face off against Custer County at 3:30 p.m. on February 1st.
