Havana won the last time they faced Peoria Heights and things went their way on Saturday too. The Ducks walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Patriots.

Havana's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Carter Brooks, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Havana's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Peoria Heights, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Looking ahead, Havana is taking a road trip to square off against Bushnell-Prairie City at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Spartans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.21 runs per game on average), something the Ducks will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Peoria Heights, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Brimfield at 4:30 p.m. The Indians' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Patriots' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
