Baseball Recap: Junipero Serra Comes Up Short

Junipero Serra managed to slip by Valley Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Padres lost 10-4 to the Warriors on Friday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Padres, who until this contest were averaging 2.57 runs allowed.

Tyler Harrison made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season.

Junipero Serra's defeat dropped their record down to 12-2. As for Valley Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
