Softball Recap: Danvers Wins Going Away Against Lowell Catholic

Danvers never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Lowell Catholic Ftng Crusaders. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Ftng Crusaders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Not much got past Maddison Fuller, who gave up just four hits to keep Lowell Catholic off the board. Fuller has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Danvers let Addi McCarty and Giana Cash run wild. McCarty went a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one run, while Cash went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI McCarty has posted since back in May of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Annabel Boyd, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and one stolen base.

Danvers' win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Lowell Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-1.

Looking ahead, Danvers will be playing at home against Swampscott at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lowell Catholic, they will head out to square off against Northeast Metro RVT at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
