Cheraw lost to North Central back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Cheraw Braves snuck past the North Central Knights with a 65-60 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Braves.

Cheraw's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from De'Shaun Drake, who went 7 of 16 en route to 17 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah McClain, who posted 12 points and five boards.

Cheraw has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points per game. As for North Central, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Cheraw will take on Central at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. Central is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57 points per game this season. As for North Central, they will square off against Andrew Jackson at 7:30 p.m. on January 14th.
