Community Health Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They took an 18-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of Math Science & Engineering. On the bright side, the 14- run performance marked Community Health Academy's highest-scoring match to date.

Joshua Placencio made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those RBI were his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Asdrubal Perez, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Community Health Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Math Science & Engineering, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

While Community Health Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
