Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lemon Bay walked away with it. They blew past the DeSoto County Bulldogs 8-0 on Friday. Considering the Manta Rays have won eight games by more than three goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting DeSoto County from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Daria Lukash led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

The win (which was Lemon Bay's third in a row) raised their record to 14-4-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those three matchups. As for DeSoto County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.

Lemon Bay will take on LaBelle at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Lemon Bay's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last three contests. DeSoto County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
