Softball Recap: Glendale Comes Up Short

Glendale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Lost River Raiders, falling 11-3. If the Pirates were looking for revenge after losing 13-8 to the Raiders when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Glendale's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Lost River, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lost River beat Glendale by a score of 14-4 on Friday.
