With the victory, Breese Central broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 5-10. As for Wesclin, their loss dropped their record down to 6-14.

Breese Central couldn't quite get it done against Wesclin when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 4-2. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
