Soccer Recap: Oregon Starts Season with Win Against Earlville

Oregon took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. They never let the Earlville Red Raiders get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for Oregon, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Their offense was hitting Earlville from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Irvin Acosta led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Oregon didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Princeton on the 29th. As for Earlville, they have also already played their next game, a 5-0 loss against Pecatonica on the 28th.
