Soccer Recap: Canton Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Canton was not quite Pekin's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dragons. That's two games in a row now that Canton have lost by exactly two goals.

Canton is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6-3. As for Pekin, they now have a winning record of 7-6-1.

Looking ahead, Canton will host Monmouth-Roseville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pekin, they will take on Jacksonville in a tournament on Friday.
